You asked about the Groupon for Italy and Gate 1 Travel. Has anyone used Groupon for international travel? I have little experience with Groupon but it has been good experience, (though, we bought a new mattress, not a vacation). They're both in their early-mid 60s and have various mobility issues (bad ankle makes for walking slowly, that sort of thing). I know that their main priorities would be attractions and ideally be able to walk to good meals. I've done only cursory research so far on the hotels but the other hotel looks pretty good. I looked at the two out of three hotels mentioned and it looks like the one in Florence is a bit of a walk from attractions. Right off the bat I can see that they will need to arrange their own travel plans to get to New York for the airfare part of the Groupon to kick in.
My parents-in-laws have been wanting to go to Italy for a long time and today I received a phone call from my father in law asking if I would check out a Groupon for him.
